Heres a few new pedals for everyone to check out. The new BLACK MESA V2, which has been fine tuned to nail the Scandinavian hardcore/metal sound of the HM-2 pedal, but retains the V1 Black Mesa's original sound as well. And the CATCH THE SUNSHINE Lead Boost, based around the legendary CHELSEA tone heard on all the DEATHSIDE, POISON and PAINTBOX LPs.  250$ for the Black Mesa V2, 200$ for the Catch the Sunshine.
Been crazy busy, Setting up to relocate to Austin Texas this summer to further take this as far as I can go. Going on almost a year since I started this company, and things have been moving beyond fast. Last summer I never would have thought I was going to sell everything I owned to move this operation somewhere where I can learn, create and have fun doing what I love. Updates coming this week with new pedals, And I am trying to figure out how to set up a paypal store on here for orders. Stay tuned, 2012 is the year of the beast.

Zac Tew and Souichi Hisatake's pedals.

When I originally started Braindead Audio Designs, I had 2 guitar players I wanted to endorse more than anything, Zac Tew of World Burns to Death/Kegcharge/Smash Detox/Rituals, and Brad Boatright of World Burns to Death/From Ashes Rise/Lebanon/Deathreat and a ton more bands.  Zacs pedal has been in the works since the summer of 2011, I went through countless designs before I made this one work. Zacs pedal is the black one on the left, It is based off of a Fulltone OCD, but wired up in a far better and more usable fashion. The transistors are socketed as well as the IC chip so he can choose what sound he likes best, considering there are almost 300 different transistors that will work in this pedal, and 8 different IC chips, I think this was a smart idea on my end.  Souichi Hisatake of FORWARD and Smash Detox is another player I have looked at as one of the best. His pedal is a highly modded TS808 tube screamer style circuit. The clipping diodes are socketed to be swappped out if he ever wants a tighter sound, or a looser sound. It currently has 2 3mm hi brightness blue LEDs, 1n914 diodes and a single BAT41 clipping diode in series with the 1n914. I thought this gave it a meaner sound for him to run through his JCM800. These 2 were an absolute blast, and honor to make for these guys. I cant wait to hear how they like them, and hopefully some things recorded using them!
The official semi website has started. Tons of updates coming soon.
